Valentine Swap

I was part of a non SU Valentine swap.  Below is what I made.  I folded a 12x12 piece of cardstock in half, free hand a heart and cut out.  The placed a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 sheet of card stock in center and folded around it.  I was pleased with the way it came out. 

Left is closed, right is open.  Hard to tell the heart shape but it is!  I received some wonderful swaps from everyone.

 

I used all kinds of different items in the center of the card. Satin ribbon, Heart from the  Always stamp set (embossed) Bird on a Branch punch, 3 heart punch, Top Note and Pink Hearts Trim punch.  Thanks for looking.  Inky Hugs, Sue

Fancy Fold

This is a card that we made in one of my stamp clubs.  The fold looks a bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it goes together quickly.  I need to get better at taking pictures or get another camera!( You can always click on a picture to get an enlarged size) The back side of the card is 8 1/2 by 4 1/4.  Scored at 3 inches on one side. This will give  the regular A2 card size! The next layer is 8 inches by 3 and scored at 4 inches.  Then you can layer and embellish to make your own unique card! I used Green Gable and Bermuda Bay and they look fabulous together! Diorama Box

I teach at a local Scrapbook store, one box we made wa a Diorama Box.  I challenged everyone to make one the following week.  They all outdid themelves!  Though the pictures do not show how beautiful they really are they all did a fantastic job.

Tri-Shutter Card

This is a card that I taught at a local Scrapbook store last week.  A fun card to make!

 

 

 

 

 

Product used is Pretty in Pink and Black carstock, Pretty In Pink Designer paper that is retired and a retired stamp set ( Heartfelt Thanks).  Also used was the Boho Blossoms punch from SU.  Ribbon and Black pattern paper from the scrapbook store.  Below are the directions for making this card.

Cut cardstock 5 1/2" x 10 1/2".

Score from the short end at 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4", 7" and 8 3/4".

Cut the slits as she shows 1 1/2" from each side.

It folds up to 3 1/2" x 5 1/2", so it will fit in an A2 envelope with a little room to spare.

 

Side panels pink- 1 1/2 x 5 1/4

                  black- 1 1/4 x 5

Front pink - 2 1/2 x 2 1/4

Middle pink- 3 1/4 x 2 1/4

          white 3 x 2

Back pink - 2 3/4 x 2 1/2

Middle long panels 3 1/4 x 1 1/4.

Embellish as desired!
