I have just arrived after my husband took me to the wrong airport this morning!!!!!!  Luckily I was able to get a flight here.  I arrived safe and sound but the TSA guy is getting reported because he checked me in for my second leg instead fo my first leg.  So that was disaster #2, I am waiting for #3!!!!!

Here is a pic of one of my swaps that are yet to be put all together!  I will finish those later tonight after another fun event I am attending.  The Late Night Stampers Reunion.

Stampin' Up Creativity!

Stampin' Up's creativity is amazing!  Look at the way they are displaying new product!
This looks like a golf ball or a Bridal bouquet, but is is really the new Rosettes.  To the right is the new Petal Cone Die with the new Fun Flowers Bigz Die.  Above the Decorative Label punch decorated so many ways.  I just  love how SU does things, above and beyond!

Back from Nashville

We all had a great time in Nashville at Stampin' Up's Leadership Conference.  We learned so much, got a ton of Freebie merchandise (SU is so generous).  Here are a couple pictures from Managers Reception and with my friends Cheryl Le Fore and Laura Schmitt.

It is hard to tell in these but my jacket had a ton of bling on it as well as my pants!

 

SU took us by bus to WildHorse Saloon, had a great meal and terrific entertainment.  We were all given Cowboy hats and when we got off the bus given a Stamp Set from the Summer Mini ( Sorry have to keep that Set a secret).

Sweet Dreams

Look at these beautiful pillow cases made by Helen H. What a great wedding present these pillow cases would make!!  The Flowers  look just like clouds and you for sure would get a good night sleep on these. All made from Stampin' Up fabric, CandyCane and Deck the Halls.

Fabric in the Kitchen

I do not sew but making an apron is so easy!  Here are a couple of samples from Helen and Gabriella.  One is using the Tastefully Trim die from the Holiday Mini and the other is made out of Stampin' Up  Candy Cane Fabric.  Absolutely beautiful and you can make matching Hotpads too.  What great gifts again to give to family and friends.

  
And why not make some coasters to add to your collection!  These are made out of the Scallop Circle die, batting is in between and then a cross is sewn by machine or hand stitched.  You need 2 scallop circle dies per coaster.

One of the great things about being a Stampin' Up Demonstrator is that everyone always shares!  Here are some Fabric samples that Helen H. made.   She not only used SU's new fabric, but look at all of the embellishments, ribbon, Simple Adorned Baubles, Simply Adorned Charms, Big Designer Buttons, Lace and Vintage Brads.   This sweater was purchased at Target for $18.00 and once embellished it looks like alot of money was paid for it!  To make the circles, Circle #2 die was used.  Take a needle and thread and loosely stitch around the edge of the Fabric circle.  Pull thread and you get what looks like a shower cap.  Pull thread tight to get the desired shape and look you want.  Sew or glue and brad, button, charm and attach to your garment, hat, bag, luggage tag etc.  Voila you are done.  So easy and quick and what great handmade gifts you can make for your friends and family for the Holidays!!  Contact me if you have any questions.   Inky Hugs, Sue

 
 

Fabric Samples

Over the next few days I will be posting Fabric samples.  There are so many creative uses with Fabric and the Big Shot! Here is one sample made by Gabriella Bonia, these are items purchased at the $$ store.  How quick and easy that you can make any place setting for any Occasion including a Birthday!! Using the Fabric Adhesive from the Holiday Mini anything can be made in a snap!!

You can make matching napkins to coordinate with your place mat.  This is such a beautiful Thanksgiving decor! Items used are the Leaves Die #2 and the Fabric Adhesive and your favorite fabric!
