Easel Card

I love to make Easel cards, they are so easy!  Below are two cards that I made, one for a class and I got the idea from the OTT Swap and the other is using Vintage Vogue stamp set that is in the Occasions Mini catalog.

For the stopper on the Vintage Vogue card, I used the gem stones in the Eggcellent Eggs kit 117179 $9.95.  I love everything in that kit!

OTT Swaps

As promised here are some OTT swaps from Leadership, and they are awesome!  Pictures do not really show all of the detail and the beauty of the cards.

On the left was made by Laura Schmitt, we finished the inside of these cards at the last minute and she was a winner!  It is one of my favorites!

On the right is a card that is to die for!  So many layers and a very heavy card.  Cheryl LeFore made this and put so much into it!

More Leadership

Another day at an awesome Leasdership event!  Last night I went to an Over the Top swap hosted by Barbara Jackson and it was so over the top, I will post pics of those in a couple of days.  As usual at these events, little sleep and the days start very early in the morning and go into the late night.  It is now 6:45 and I will be leaving for the day in a few minutes!  Some more quilt samples and an beautiful sweater that we coupd purchase and buy a watch to match. 

Patty Bennet made these adorable Birdhouses out of the new Milk carton die!

Give Thanks

Here are two cards made with different DSP papers though  both from the same pack of Autumn Traditions. 115668 $9.95. I think I like the one with the leaves better!  It needed something so I added Raffia to give it more of a fall look.

 

I made the Scallop from the Square Scallop Clear Bigz die #115950 $21.95.  I cut my cardstock to 4 3/4 by 3 1/2 wide.  I folded the cardstock in half and lined up on the die on the indentions ( not in the middle of a scallop).  Put through the Big Shot, open up cardstock and you have a shape to fit your needs! Stamp set is from the Holiday Mini Autumn Spendor #116503 $20.95  I just love this set!  Give thanks is from Holiday Best Level 1 Hostess set.  To earn your Free Hostess sets contact me! Convention Swap

This is another one of my Convention Swaps.  I love color combo of Kraft, Black and Melon Mambo.  I used the stamp set On a Pedestal #113814 $19.95.  I also used the new Bigz Clear Die Scallop Square and cut it in half.  And our new Striped Grosgrain ribbon in Black.  Ink Hugs, Sue

Medallion Background Stamp

One of my favorite new stamps is the Medallion Background stamp.  And I also love this color combo, the new In-Colors from SU, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry!  I stamped twice and cut the center portion of the Crushed Curry color.  Also used is the new Polka Dot Ribbon in Rich Razzleberry and the Jumbo Gromments. 

I could not decide wether to have the card as Whisper White or Crushed Curry so I just used the Signo gel pen and added some white dots.  The saying is from Heard from the Heart.

Look Here Die/Circle Circus

This is a card I made with the New Look Here Shot die and Cricle Circus Stamp set.  The possibilties are endless of what you can make with the Look Here die.  Yo ucan insert a picture, Business card, Gift Card, coupons etc.  And it is so much fun to make!                                                              

 I used Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and the new Crushed Curry!  Also the Ric Rac is from the new Ribbon Original Orchard. Here are the rest of the images from the Circle Circus stamp set #115778 $28.95. Inky Hugs, Sue
